Dorchester County Council on Dec. 17, 2024 adopted a zoning amendment allowing guest cottages and rural event venues, introduced legislation to abolish the Board of Electrical Examiners and to repeal the Burial Sites Preservation chapter, and approved a slate of grants and letters of support while appointing Matt Leonard to the Ethics Commission 4-1.
