Livonia City Council heard public comment on native-plant landscaping and referred proposed ordinance education/review to the Law & Education committee; it approved a five-year solid waste contract with Priority Waste and authorized purchase of 40,000 trash and 40,000 recycling carts from Toter; several routine items (lot split, a new budget manager classification) were also approved.
