Oak Park City Council met Dec. 16, 2024. Council approved multiple routine payments and contracts, adopted an ordinance to combine voting precincts, heard a multi-year MDOT bridge replacement and plaza deck project that will close a ball field and affect 696 ramps, approved a demolition change order after asbestos was found, granted a small façade grant to a new business, and recognized resident Kenneth J. Sherman for donations to the public safety K-9 program.
