The Reeves County Groundwater Conservation District board met Oct. 31, 2024 in Pecos, Texas. Directors received an update on a Toyah oil well blowout and a capped but flowing Orla water well that county contractors say warrants a Railroad Commission complaint; the board took no action but agreed to consider adding a formal complaint to next month’s agenda. The board also approved routine minutes, financial statements, payments and quarterly reports.
