At its Jan. 14, 2025 meeting in Lovingston, the Nelson County Board of Supervisors reorganized leadership, approved several budget and policy items, adopted higher ambulance transport fees, approved $25,000 for Rockfish Valley Community Center, and approved the Wild Rose Solar special-use permit and siting agreement (90 MW) with a 40-year limit; the board also received reports from VDOT, the county assessor, and a jail-utilization study.
