The Georgetown-Quitman County Commission held regular and called meetings in June 2025 covering a first reading of an ordinance to raise the emergency services assessment, a denied variance for 37 Cool Branch Rd., selection of an EECBG contractor, multiple budget resolutions and amendments, and several approvals including a beer-and-wine license and a Kaigler Road intergovernmental agreement.
