The Wausau School District Board voted to place an $8 million-per-year, five-year nonrecurring operating referendum on the April ballot after a presentation from district administrators outlining multi-year budget shortfalls and options. The board also approved routine consent items, accepted the audit report, set open-enrollment spaces and voted to enter a closed session to discuss charter contract evaluations.
