The Platteville School District board received a presentation of a community survey on Aug. 14 showing limited support for higher-cost operational referendum options; presenter Rob Deise said the Platteville Journal is the most effective channel to reach non-parent/non-staff voters. The board also heard capital improvement and budget briefings and discussed revenue-limit pressures ahead of the district's end-of-October budget meeting.
