Carter County Board of Commissioners met June 16, 2025. Commissioners approved multiple budget amendments including a $4.867 million school fund amendment, several disaster- and road-related purchase orders, approved participation in the state TACN radio network, accepted tourism and disaster updates, and recognized the county detention center's Tier 1 accreditation.
