At its June 17, 2025 meeting, the Simpson County Fiscal Court adopted its FY2025-26 budget (including a 3% pay increase for county employees), passed an ordinance banning anaerobic digestion facilities, approved several road and bridge project requests and a bridge funding application, accepted a single bid for new SCBA gear, and approved a contract to pursue FEMA SAFER grant funding for the fire department.
