The Virginia Waste Management Board met and unanimously approved a proposed regulatory amendment to allow limited off-site open burning of vegetative waste under specified setbacks and conditions and to proceed to public comment; the board also received a director's update on a new EPA-funded recycling grant, a statewide solid waste plan, and CCR permitting work.
