At a special meeting on Aug. 5, 2025, the Brewster County Commissioners Court approved creating a part-time elections position, authorized the county clerk to run the elections office until an Election Administrator is hired, approved $65/day compensation for the clerk for that duty, and approved posting 2026 elected-official salaries; the tax-rate worksheet was presented.
