St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners met March 3, 2026. The board adopted a proclamation renaming San Sebastian River Park to Waldron Family Park, approved the LAMP land-acquisition ranking list, advanced coastal and beach projects funding, continued a contested South Ponte Vedra PUD/modification (agenda item 4) for further staff review, approved planning and permitting funding for North Ponte Vedra FEMA beach renourishment, adopted updated utility rates and a multi-year indexing plan, and voted to reallocate Shore Drive Trail funds to the newly named Waldron Family Park after extensive neighborhood debate.
