The Union County Board of Commissioners met Jan. 6, 2026, in Elk Point and completed annual organizational business: published the county's 2026 salary list as required by state law, elected board leadership and made committee appointments, approved election worker pay and polling places, authorized routine administrative actions and approved claims and payroll.
