The Union County Board of Commissioners met Oct. 28, 2025, in Elk Point. The board approved personnel actions (a jailer resignation and a new hire), authorized a bridge grant application and highway-related payments and change order, approved purchases for sheriff dispatch upgrades, tabled Dakota Dunes speed limit and golf-cart ordinance second readings, and approved a Veterans Memorial site.
