The Tift County Board of Commissioners met in work session on July 8, 2025. The board previewed several items set for the July 14 consent agenda — including a $2.65 million Gazette Building renovation, equipment purchases and a pavement-project engineering addendum — welcomed newly sworn Commissioner Tyler Riddle, heard a public plea to repair basketball courts, and entered executive session for personnel.
