The Tift County Board of Commissioners held a work session on June 3, 2025, reviewing a number of routine purchases, service agreements and license applications to be placed on the June 9 consent agenda. The board also scheduled several board reappointments for the regular agenda and Manager Jim Carter reported on a proposed sales tax ratio study with Valdosta State University and plans to recognize the county's Tax Commissioner.
