Dade County Board of Commissioners held a combined work session and regular meeting on Sep. 5, 2024. Commissioners received presentations on a proposed 650-acre “community forest” acquisition that would require a potential $500,000 county match, reviewed several SPLOST capital requests including a $45,000 supplemental request for Fire Station 4 and a $274,905.64 capital package from the Dade County Water & Sewer Authority, and approved the consent agenda including those items.
