Sumter County Council met March 25, 2025. Council approved a zoning text amendment to allow earthen berms (OA-25-01) for screening at vehicle parts/dismantling sites, passed three ordinances on third reading (including Litter Advisory Board changes and two street transfers), held a recognition for public safety officers of the year, reviewed committee reports and set the budget reading schedule.
