At its Sept. 23, 2025 meeting the Barry County Board of Commissioners approved multiple consent items and unanimously adopted several emergency- and budget-related resolutions, heard the medical examiner's 2024 report, and received an administrator's report warning of rising 2026 health-care costs and proposed benefit changes for department heads and elected officials.
