At its May 6, 2025 Alpena County Personnel Committee meeting, members recommended approval to begin recruiting a 911 dispatcher, voted to fill the county Emergency Management position without a Montmorency County partnership (absorbing about $45,000), approved a Fairgrounds Park management contract through Dec. 31, 2026, and approved hiring Elizabeth Reed under contract for the prosecutor's office.
