At its June 24, 2025 meeting the Barry County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved Resolution #25-18 to finance the replacement/upgrades of sheriff communications equipment and cameras via a three-year installment purchase agreement and approved related contracts and claims. The board also heard an update from Planning & Zoning on a proposed short-term rental ordinance using Long Lake Township as a model.
