The Benzie County Board of Commissioners held its regular meeting on Sept. 23, 2025; commissioners unanimously approved several routine items, introduced a proposed Public Land Ordinance for possible enactment Oct. 28, and voted 6-1 to authorize opposition to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services' request for proposals for public behavioral health services.
