The Norwalk City Planning and Zoning Commission held public hearings on Feb. 23, 2026 to consider (1) rezoning several R‑1 lots in multiple plats to the RF (Founders Residential) district to accommodate older-lot layouts, and (2) citywide changes to accessory-structure bulk rules including raising lot-coverage caps and removing a line limiting accessory buildings to the size of principal structures. Both proposals were recommended by the commission and will go to city council; a separate annexation update was reported.
