Dickson County Commission met June 24, 2024 and approved a $1.69 per $100 property tax rate, adopted the county budget and several appropriations and amendments, authorized a local referendum on sales of alcoholic beverages for on‑premises consumption, approved multiple zoning amendments, accepted a $176,540 state grant for COVID‑19 improvements to the county jail, and voted to abolish the office of constable at the end of the current term.
