The City of Wausau Economic Development Committee reviewed Phase 2 environmental testing for the Thomas Street corridor; the DNR opened a contamination case for Area A and set deadlines for the city to hire a consultant and submit a site investigation work plan. The committee also heard a Cleveland Avenue public-participation survey summary and an update on a 6-unit affordable housing project at 405 S. 8th Avenue.
