Cocke County Legislative Body met Aug. 18, 2025. The board approved minutes and routine appointments, adopted budget transfers, approved zoning changes (including rules for cryptocurrency mining), appointed members to committees and planning commission seats, adopted the 2025–2030 Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan, and passed a resolution to move county employee health/dental/vision coverage to the State Group Insurance plans effective Jan. 1, 2026.
