Spencer County Fiscal Court held a special meeting Jan. 4, 2024, to reorganize county administration, set staff pay rates, and set salary caps for the county clerk and sheriff. The court appointed an economic development director, debated and approved a $1.1 million sheriff salary cap after public support, referred a zoning study to KIPDA and approved routine invoices.
