Burleson County Commissioners Court on Sept. 9, 2024 adopted the FY2025 budget, approved a 0.4600 property tax rate (an effective 17.18% increase), and approved multiple routine contracts, interlocal agreements, appointments and grant acceptances. The court also heard a public forum report from Haven Animal Rescue and received departmental updates from the sheriff and elections administrator.
