The Burleson County Commissioners Court met Sept. 23, 2024, and unanimously approved a range of routine agenda items including grant ratifications (including SB-22 awards to the sheriff and county attorney), approval of the 2025 pay and holiday schedules, a burn ban, various permits and contract actions, and several procedural items. The sheriff reported 66 people in the county jail and several open positions.
