Freemansburg Borough Council on Nov. 5, 2025 adopted the 2026 budget measures including a higher real-estate tax rate and a $5 per-capita tax, approved multiple traffic-control measures (stop signs and six speed humps), authorized a $1,000,000 short-term loan or line of credit to cover grant-reimbursable construction costs and voted to retain outside vendors for code and tax services.
