The Tift County Board of Commissioners convened a workshop on Sept. 3, 2024 to review routine consent items and project updates, including award and value-engineering of the EB Hamilton Phase 1B contract, several road and culvert repairs funded by TSPLOST, changes to fireworks permitting under SB 417, and two alcohol-license applications. The board voted 6-0 to enter a brief executive session for legal matters and then adjourned.
