The Tift County Board of Commissioners met Aug. 12, 2024. The board recognized a youth baseball team, heard a lengthy series of public comments focused on a county-wide property revaluation and local flooding concerns, approved two alcohol-license transfers and denied a third application under county ordinance, and approved minutes and consent items before adjourning.
