The Tift County Board of Commissioners on July 8 considered multiple rezoning and development requests, approved a planned unit development for multi-family/student housing, approved two rezoning requests and denied one rezoning for a proposed travel center after public opposition; the board also approved consent items and appointed a member to the library board.
