At its July 14, 2025 regular meeting in Waycross, the Ware County Board of Commissioners approved a slate of routine measures — including a $1.35 million paving contract, SPLOST purchases, rezoning and road relocation — and authorized staff to solicit bids for public works equipment. County staff reported SPLOST receipts are tracking toward a projected $55 million total.
