At a called meeting on Aug. 27, 2025, the Ware County Board of Commissioners set the county and school millage rates for FY2026, approved engineering and grant-related work tied to LMIG and SAP funds, authorized bids to replace courthouse plumbing, and approved a limited MOU to continue health insurance for the current Downtown Waycross Development Authority director through June 30, 2026.
