The Alpena County Personnel Committee met Aug. 5, 2025, and approved a series of personnel policies and payroll adjustments, including changing overtime accrual for non‑union staff to weekly, paying out PTO on the last working day, adoption of confidentiality and moonlighting policies, an office pet policy, and FY26 payroll adjustments. The committee also interviewed an Emergency Manager candidate and received an update on Road Commission timing.
