Chippewa County Board of Commissioners on May 15, 2025 appointed applicants to an Opioid Settlement Steering Committee, approved an amended dispatch integration agreement with the Michigan Public Safety Communication System, adopted several routine finance and contract items, sent a letter supporting a port development grant, and heard public comments pressing for improved Neebish Island ferry service and an audit of EUPTA.
