Jasper County Board of Supervisors met Feb. 24, 2026 and approved a 28E agreement with the City of Newton for Newton Rail Park development services, multiple 28E sheriff-service agreements with five towns, set public hearings on Animal Control ordinance changes, approved funeral-home reimbursements and reviewed over-budget bids for a law enforcement training center.
