A joint assembly of the South Carolina General Assembly convened to elect judges to state courts, consider several statutory and regulatory bills and hold extended debate on a proposal to reduce the state's watercraft/property tax rate over a three-year phase-in. The Senate also debated and advanced bills on campus event permitting and nitrous-oxide retail restrictions.
