The Charles Mix County Board of Commissioners met Oct. 23, 2025 in Lake Andes and approved routine county business including plats, a drainage permit, multiple alcohol-license renewals, vendor claims and payroll, propane procurement for the courthouse, prisoner-housing contracts, and several personnel actions. The board also heard department reports on the 2025 budget, a walking-path grant presentation and highway operations.
