Cherokee County Board of Commissioners held its Jan. 6, 2026 regular meeting. Commissioners opened with invocation and the pledge, ratified an executive session closure, announced a $7.6 million Safe Streets grant for Highway 92, handled several appointments and zoning cases, voted to invoke an annexation dispute with Holly Springs, approved routine purchases and contracts, heard a public comment about deer feeding, and adjourned.
