Morton County Commission on July 11, 2024 adopted a one-year moratorium on carbon dioxide direct air capture facilities while the county develops zoning standards; the meeting also included approval of routine minutes, payroll and five abatements, a recommendation to approve the Gwyther Third Subdivision plat, and presentations of several 2025 budgets.
