At a Jan. 12, 2016 special session in Angola, the Steuben County Council elected its officers, approved multiple appropriations and salary ordinance changes, authorized grant applications including a $1.45 million IDOC Community Corrections grant, held first reading of a general obligation bond ordinance for public-safety communications and discussed highway truck funding timing.
