At a Feb. 9, 2023 Sevier County Budget Committee meeting, members unanimously approved Resolution 2023-02-10 requesting unclaimed account balances be remitted to the state treasurer and heard updates on a proposed merger with the Sevier County Volunteer Fire Department, mayor’s office reorganization, courthouse and records projects, and an ambulance renovation. The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Fred Atchley and adjourned at 4:53 PM.
