At its Dec. 11, 2024 regular meeting, the Franklin County Fiscal Court approved a rezoning ordinance for a 25.45-acre tract on Cardwell Lane after split votes on several required findings; the court also awarded a fire equipment contract, authorized sealed bids for above-ground fuel tanks, conducted a closed-session personnel matter, confirmed several personnel and board appointments, and completed routine financial items.
