At its Feb. 24, 2026 meeting in Waverly, the Bremer County Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution increasing the sheriff's FY2027 salary to comply with an Iowa Attorney General opinion, moved employee health insurance expenses to the Capital Projects department for a one-year trial, set a March 24 public hearing on the proposed property-tax levy, approved payroll additions, and reviewed courthouse financing and a five-year roads plan.
