The Whitfield County Board of Commissioners met Sept. 11, 2023, approving a slate of routine business items including multiple alcohol licenses, contract and grant applications, several rezoning decisions, and a series of repair and capital contract changes. The board authorized applications for federal planning and transit grants and approved a $532,170.90 change order to a bridge rehabilitation contract.
