At its Dec. 22, 2025 meeting in St. Ignace, the Mackinac County Board of Commissioners unanimously adopted the 2026 budget and approved a series of personnel, contract, appointment and fee actions including an AFSCME tentative agreement, an updated wage study implementation, three Veterans Service Committee appointments, a snow-removal contract, and increases to parcel fees for equalization over three years.
