The Dorchester County Board of Zoning Appeals on Feb. 25 heard three variance requests: a carport setback variance submitted by Sam Agnew (approved), a rear-porch extension in the Crestwinds planned development (postponed for more documentation), and a variance for an outdoor event/wedding venue on Hill Branch Road by Kristen Sasser (denied). The board also recognized long-serving member Dwight and adjourned.
